Privacy Policy
UtilityToolsLab · Last updated: July 11, 2026
UtilityToolsLab is built on a single privacy principle: your data never leaves your device. Every tool on this platform runs entirely inside your browser. We have no servers processing your input, no databases storing your output, and no third-party analytics tracking your behavior.
1. Information We Collect
We collect no personal information. UtilityToolsLab does not require registration, sign-in, or any account creation. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying details.
All tool operations — text conversion, image compression, JSON formatting, password generation, and every other utility — execute entirely within your browser using standard Web APIs (JavaScript, Canvas, Web Crypto). Your input data is never transmitted to any external server.
2. Browser Storage & Cookies
We use localStorage exclusively for two quality-of-life features:
- Saved (Favorited) Tools — the star list you build on the homepage, stored locally in your browser only.
- Recently Used Tools — the last few tools you opened, for quick access.
This data lives entirely on your device. Clearing your browser storage removes it permanently. We have no copy of it. We use no tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookie scripts.
3. Analytics & Tracking
We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or any behavioral analytics platform on this site. We do not track clicks, sessions, scroll depth, heatmaps, or user journeys. We collect no usage telemetry of any kind.
4. Third-Party Services
UtilityToolsLab does not integrate payment processors, advertising networks, or data brokers. The only external resource loaded is the Google Fonts stylesheet for the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces. Google's own Privacy Policy applies to that request.
5. Data Security
Because we store no personal data on our servers (we have none), the attack surface is effectively zero. Your tool inputs are processed in memory inside your browser tab and discarded when you navigate away or refresh the page.
6. Children's Privacy
UtilityToolsLab is a general-purpose utility platform intended for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. No registration or personal data submission is required to use the platform.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
